This qualification is highly desirable to employers looking for salon reception and front of house staff and is taught over a fast track 2 week period. We are currently one of only a handful of training providers in the UK able to teach this course, and if you're looking to get started in the hairdressing industry super quick, this is it.

Our VRQ Level 2 in Salon Reception Duties teaches you the essential skills of a salon receptionist, and enables you to translate those skills into the specific industry of hair and beauty. You will learn how a salon appointment book is managed (both computer based and paper based), what the products and services actually are, how long each service takes, how stylists like their appointments booked, how to upsell, dealing with clients, how to assist with salon services and more. Your training will take place in a real working salon.

The course fee includes all equipment and tools required to complete the course. Upon graduation you will have built a vast portfolio of your work including written and practical assignments, photo evidence and documentation of your skills, as well as acheiving your VRQ Level 2 Certificate in Salon Reception Duties.

All you need to bring is lots of enthusiasm, and a camera to take pictures for your portfolio. We'll take care of the rest!
